The April Fool's Prank
The Setup: I convinced my coworker that our boss had installed a \"voice activated printer\" in the office.
The Execution: I told my coworker to try it out by saying \"Print,\" but nothing happened. I then whispered to the printer, \"You have to speak in German.\" My coworker tried again, this time saying \"Drucken\" and to our surprise, the printer started spitting out pages. I quickly snatched one of the papers and drew a picture of a donkey with the caption \"April Fool's!\"
The Aftermath: My coworker was red-faced with embarrassment, but we couldn't stop laughing. To add insult to injury, I replaced his computer background with a photo of the donkey and set the printer to print out random pictures of donkeys throughout the day. Needless to say, we had a lot of laughs that day and my coworker will never trust voice activated technology again.
